Technical support outsourcer Stream International says it spends “plenty” on training to keep customer service staff up to speed.

How does a technical support business stay in business? By having the best technical support staff in the business. How does a techsupport business acquire the best technical staff? Is it lavish offices and accommodation, fancy gymnasiums and sports facilities? Money? It’s more than that.

The MPC7400 PowerPC is initially being offered in 350-, 400-. and 450-MHz versions, priced at $210, $275, and $355, respectively, in quantities of 1,000. A 500-MHz version, priced at $475, is expected to be available soon.
